Cornerstone and the Coronavirus Update 3/17/2020 Part 2

From Your Pastor

Cornerstone Family,

I pray this message finds you more in love with Christ than you’ve ever been before, and more aware of Christ’s love for you than you’ve ever been before. If you will follow the link by clicking HERE you will find a video I just made announcing that we will have no church gatherings for the next two weeks (please watch the whole thing). That means no Monday, Wednesday, or Friday Bible studies, along with no Sunday school and no Sunday service. As I explain in the video, this is not something I came to lightly, nor is it something I’m leading us to do out of fear. Before hearing the president speak today I was still leaning towards us meeting, however, in light of what he and his advisors said, along with the advice of other leaders and pastors, I believe this is the right thing to do, and that it is not an act of fear but an act of submission, of sacrifice, and of love.

I will be sending articles, videos, and the like in the days to come. In the meantime I encourage you to heed the government’s and the CDC’s advice as best you can, and take any extra time you have to pray, study God’s Word, and reach out to God’s people. If you need anything, or if I can be of service in anyway please don’t hesitate to ask. And if the days ahead put you in hard times financially please let us know, and we will do our best to help in any way we can.

I love you all!

Christ is all!

Your privileged and unworthy minister and friend,

Nick Esch
